The Essence of Intelligence presents

In his talk, Almaas addresses the question
of how a spiritual perspective can inform

The Essence

This 2-DVD set makes available to

art auction and discussion in Grass Valley, California, October, 2003.
The first disk is a talk given
by A.H. Almaas on the experiential
nature of creativity. He takes the
audience on a fascinating journey
to discover why being creative is
so highly revered in our culture.
He sees the narcissistic side in
the desire to be recognized and appreciated
as special and unique, but he also
looks at the deeper longing to feel
connected to the outflow of dynamic
creative arising. This arising is
the ultimate nature of everything
emerging from the selfless source—the
Absolute. From this, Almaas finds
that creativity is truly a combination
of generosity and service when it
connects us to our deepest nature.

Night's Journey Series
These videos were produced
during public talks in 1993 and 1994 in
Colorado and California, during which A.H.
Almaas presented material from his personal
journal, which describes his own journey
of realization and the processes involved
in integrating that realization. Much of
this material is also included in the book
Luminous Night's Journey.
The method of open inquiry
which characterizes the Diamond Approach®,
the spiritual path which has arisen out
of Almaas' work, is beautifully demonstrated
in these tapes. Almaas describes how his
participation in the unfolding manifestation
of Being ushers him into realms which expose
and transform increasingly deep ego structures
and attachments. The Luminous Night's Journey
Series clarifies how the unveiling of Being
and the exposure of ego structures constitute
one process, leading to the soul's integrated
realization of absolute nature and the

The process of inner transformation becomes at some point a rapproachement between
