A new Diamond Approach Group has started in the Upper Midwest Region and it is currently open and growing. The Diamond Approach is a path of spiritual realization characterized by sincere inquiry into one’s experience, fueled by the love of truth. The immediate contact with the truth of our experience allows the unfoldment of our Soul to reach increasingly deeper levels of truth. Our work includes meditations, teaching, movement, and experiential exercises.

Teachers:

Neal and Carol Carbon, assisted by Timothy Bernhard and Johanna Seubert

Carol Carbon lives in Boulder, Colorado, and has been involved in the Diamond Approach since 1976. She is on the teaching staff in Philadelphia, Colorado (DH8), and the Midwest (Groups I, II, and III). She is also currently on the faculty of the US-RISNG seminary program through the Ridhwan School. In addition to her teaching, Carol’s work in the world has included being a registered nurse, a houseparent of teenage kids in trouble with the law, and a psychiatric nurse in both inpatient and outpatient clinics. Alongside these roles, she has worked as a union organizer, a marketer for an interior design firm, a real estate investor, and currently she serves as a landlady for rental property. In her free time, Carol enjoys reading thrillers and mysteries, gardening, casual biking, participating in 5- and 10-k races, and lunching with friends. One of her greatest delights is music and she can often be found playing a gospel tune on her piano.

Neal Carbon lives in Boulder, Colorado, and has been involved in the Diamond Approach since 1980. He is on the teaching staff in Boston (Groups 3 and 12), and the Midwest (Groups 1, 2, and 3). He is also currently on the faculty of the US-RISNG seminary program through the Ridhwan School. In addition to his teaching, Neal’s work in the world has included serving as the Human Resources director for People’s Clinic in Boulder, a non-profit primary care facility for the underserved and uninsured. He has a BA degree in Healthcare Management. In his free time, Neal enjoys riding his road bicycle around Boulder County and beyond.
